I/O classes provide a uniform API for low-level input and output. Subclasses will exist for a variety of input/output mechanisms.

Classes
`FileInput`	Input for single, simple file-like objects.
`FileOutput`	Output for single, simple file-like objects.
`Input`	Abstract base class for input wrappers.
`NullInput`	Degenerate input: read nothing.
`NullOutput`	Degenerate output: write nothing.
`Output`	Abstract base class for output wrappers.
`StringInput`	Direct string input.
`StringOutput`	Direct string output.
